Today, I woke up in Hotel Andra’s King size bed next to my sister and Matron of Honor Renee. I was lucky enough to be joined by my bridesmaids Heather and Gloria, and we chatted and lounged for about an hour. I felt so lucky to start my day surrounded by these 3 fantastic ladies!
We threw on some clothing and walked to Tully’s at 1st and Virginia for a nice cup of coffee to start our day. The barista found out that I was getting married, and said, “I feel like your coffee should be comp’d…” and I replied, “Hey, so do I!”
We walked up to Dalia Bistro and got some baked goodies. I only had a couple of bites of my muffin; my stomache was starting to feel pretty weird! The day was beautiful and sunny (odd I know!) so we enjoyed the sunshine and more conversation at the bistro tables outside of Dalia Bistro.
When returning to our hotel room, it was nail time. I painted a French manicure on my toes and nails. Did you know 5 coats of polish takes FOREVER to dry??
Before I knew it, Heather and Gloria were ready to go walk to grab Cosi for lunch. Debi was near, dropping off mom and the girls at the hotel. Things were beginning to happen!
Lunch came, I tried my best to eat well so I wouldn’t be famished all day. Following lunch, it was already time to curl my hair and do makeup. I curled most of the front and Renee finished off the back. It was looking pretty.
The photographer came ½ way through my make-up being complete. I simply couldn’t believe it was time!! I wrapped things up, and it was time for photos and a final toast with the bridesmaids and mom before we left the room.
